We offer a varied yet comprehensive programme of courses for Prosthetics, Crown & Bridge and the Digital environment, inviting world-renowned presenters and demonstrators from suppliers of the leading product brands, as well as our own accredited training staff.
As an International Centre offering “Excellence Through Training”, Skillbond welcomes all technicians from the UK, Europe and extending worldwide, to attend its popular certified courses ranging from 1-day introductory to 2-day advanced courses.
Accredited 3Shape & Exocad Trainers
We offer install training with purchase/rental of all 3Shape scanners to set you off on the right foot for your journey into the scanned, designed and printed workflow. We also offer different Levels of 3Shape training as well as bespoke training for your lab’s specific requirements.
We offer similar training to the above for GC Aadva scanners with exocad Ultimate software covering many modules such as Bar, Model Creator, Splint, RPD, Denture, Smile Creator etc.
Bespoke Training In-House at Your Lab
Skillbond can offer you a day (or more) of bespoke training at your lab, either one-to-one or for your entire team.
As well as eliminating travel, you can learn how to use your own equipment in your lab’s natural environment and set up!
Scanner Install Training Purchase/Rental
The main objective of this Crown & Bridge installation course is to guide you through the first steps of designing and scanning in either 3Shape or exocad software (depending on the scanner you purchase/rent).
During this digital course every opportunity will be given to the delegate to discuss their digital requirements and expectations.
COURSE DETAILS: Registration is at 8:45am, the course will commence promptly at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. This course is free with scanner purchase/rental (max 2 delegates per lab).

3SHAPE Basic Crown & Bridge Design
The main objective of this basic course is to guide the delegate through the first steps of scanning and designing in 3Shape software. The delegate will spend the day using the software to design a range of basic crown and bridge products to a competent level.
COURSE DETAILS: Registration is at 8:45am, the course will commence promptly at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. Price £250.00 + VAT.
Exocad Basic Crown & Bridge Design
The main objective of this Level 1 course is to guide the delegate through the first steps of designing in exocad software. The delegate will spend the day using the software to design a range of basic crown and bridge products to a competent level.
COURSE DETAILS: Registration is at 8:45am, the course will commence promptly at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. Price £250.00 + VAT.
ArgenZ - Full Contour Design, Stain & Glaze
The delegate will spend the morning understanding the ranges of ArgenZ zirconia. Using 3Shape software they will design 2 full contour crowns to a competent level and learn how to 'mirror' teeth.
The afternoon will then be spent staining, glazing and finishing the crowns using the latest paste and stain materials and gaining an understanding of how to process sintered zirconia.
COURSE DETAILS: Registration is at 8:45am, the course will commence promptly at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. Price £495.00 + VAT.
