As an Argen customer, you agree to adhere to the terms, policies and warranties listed below.
Argen Equipment Policies and Reference Guide
Argen’s third party equipment (“Equipment”) offering is designed for your Dental Laboratory’s total success. Please use this guide to find important information about your purchase; such as contact information, troubleshooting documents, warranties, and other helpful resources.
For detailed terms and conditions, please refer to Argen’s Equipment Terms and Conditions of Sale, and Argen Standard Terms and Conditions. The most current versions may be found by visiting Argen’s website www.argen.com.
Argen’s Equipment and accessory line includes but is not limited to third party Scanners, Scanner Software, Mills, Mill Software, Furnaces, Suction Units, PCs, Equipment tools and accessories.
Getting Started with your purchase:
- Please see the applicable manufacturers' instructions for Product Registration, and complete it as soon as possible.
- Familiarize yourself (and all users) with the Operating Manual, Maintenance requirements, Training resources, and Troubleshooting guides where available.
- Most manufacturer warranties can be invalidated by not properly registering, installing, using, and maintaining the item per the manufacturers instructions; we recommend following all manufacturer instructions.
While Argen does not repair nor service Equipment (nor accessory of the Equipment), we can assist by providing the manufacturers’ resources such as warranties, policies, and contact information so that you may seek the support you need. No refunds are offered on any Software purchases, as expressly stated at the time of purchase during checkout. In this guide, we provide summaries of the warranties for each manufacturer, yet the manufacturers’ actual warranty language will always prevail. SCANNERS
3Shape Scanner
3Shape Warranty Summary: 3Shape offers a standard 1 year warranty on Scanner hardware and components. 3Shape also offers an extended five-year warranty, which applies to all purchases of 3Shape lab scanners made after June 6, 2016, which purchase also included either: 1. LabCare, 2. Dental System™ Premium or 3. Ortho System™ Premium software. 3Shape offers repair or replacement of defective units at no additional charge during the five-year after-purchase period.

3Shape CAD Points
CAD Points can be purchased for your dongle by calling Argen Customer Care at 800-255-5524. CAD Points may be purchased in increments of 100, and will be active 24 hours after the order has been completed. No refunds will be issued for CAD Point purchases. Should you have any difficulty using your CAD Points 24 hours or more after you purchase them, please contact Argen Equipment Support at 800-255-5524.
Scanner by Open Technologies
Open Technologies Warranty Summary: Open Technologies offers a 24 month warranty. The scanner’s installation date may be considered the beginning of the warranty period IF the installation of the scanner is done within 6 months from the date of the purchase. Should the scanner be activated after 6 months from the date of purchase, the hardware warranty will expire 1 year and 6 months after the purchase, regardless of the installation date. The scanner hardware components have been specially designed to ensure maximum reliability: system calibration remains stable over time and ordinary maintenance is minimal.

Exocad Software (for your Open Technologies Scanner)

Roland Mill
Roland Warranty Summary: Roland offers a two-year, Trouble-Free Warranty. Roland warrants to the original end-user that your Roland DWX Dental Milling Machine conforms to Roland’s published specifications, and is free from defects in materials or workmanship, subject to the conditions of warranty listed below. In addition, under the terms of this Warranty Roland will replace the Product’s spindle, which is considered a consumable part, up to one time, if needed, during the warranty period. Any replacement product or parts installed during the warranty period are warranted for the balance of the original warranty period. Any replaced product or part becomes Roland property.

ShenPaz
Shenpaz Warranty Summary: Shenpaz carries a 1 year warranty. ShenPaz warrants that the non-consumable parts of this product including, but not limited to, the muffle are not defective for a period of one (1) year or 3500 hours. In the event that this product proves defective within a period of the one (1) year or 3500 hours of work from the date of shipment to Buyer, Buyers' exclusive remedy shall be the option of Shenpaz; either replacement of the product or defective part or component, free of charge. Quatro
Quatro Warranty Summary: All Quatro products are warranted to the original consumer purchaser for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in material or workmanship. Proof of purchase is required. Remedy under the warranty is limited to either repair, replacement, or credit; which remedy is at the option of Quatro.

BOFA (by Roland)
Roland Warranty Summary: Roland is the sole reseller and distributor worldwide for BOFA suction units. BOFA warrants that the goods will meet specifications in sales literature and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of the invoice relating to such Goods provided. In the event of a defect, BOFA will, at its option, either repair or supply a replacement, provided that defects are related to design, material, or workmanship of BOFA and not due to misuse. Return shipping is at the expense of customer.

HP Warranty Summary: HP Hardware offers a three-year limited warranty. HP warrants that the HP Hardware Products that you have purchased are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the Limited Warranty Period. The Limited Warranty Period starts on the date of purchase from HP. You may be required to provide proof of purchase as a condition of receiving warranty service. Equipment Tools and Accessories
Tools and Accessories may be returned within 30 days of purchase IF they are new and unopened, without damage or use. If a tool or accessory is damaged in transit to you, best practice is to refuse delivery. If the item(s) was delivered before discovering the damage, photograph the damaged packaging (and contents / tools and/ or accessories if open).
